The CAVS Family Mentoring Service provides a network of support to families with children age
d between pre-birth and 19 years who live or attend school in Castle Point. Families are allocated an experienced, non-judgemental support worker or volunteer peer mentor, to work alongside them helping build on their strengths, whilst developing skills and resilience to help make positive and long lasting change.
There are a range of services available from one to one support in the home, bespoke parenting programmes and one to one mentoring. You can find out more about the groups we run on the click below.
If you would like to know more about what we offer please contact the CAVS Family Mentoring Service on 01268 214000 or email familymentoring@cavsorg.uk.
Why not volunteer for us? Part of the service is supported by volunteers. CAVS are reliant on the goodwill of our volunteers to support families and their children and young people. We also have volunteers working from our office and assisting with the administration of this service.
