What We Do
CAVS is a local voluntary service organisation which relies on the goodwill of local people to help others in the Community.
CAVS have a number of exciting volunteering opportunities across our services including Befriending, Ways to Wellness and Family Mentoring.
Our Volunteer Centre specialises in all aspects of volunteering and management.
Volunteering offers a whole different world, opening doors to new experiences which can help you meet your personal goals, upskill, re-train as well as helping others, with the chance to meet a new network of friends too.
It’s not just a one-way street. People of all age groups who volunteer say it enriches their own life as well as those they support. They feel valued, healthy and happy to be giving back, improving confidence and self-esteem.
