An exciting opportunity has arisen to join CAVS as a Wellbeing Link Coordinator for Rochford.

This highly rewarding role will involve working intrinsically with GP practices, their patients and the CAVS team.  Assistance of a non-clinical nature will be provided to those with long-term health conditions, low level mental health issues, those who may be lonely and isolated, people who have lost confidence or have social needs; all differing issues that can affect an individual’s happiness and welfare.  An holistic approach based on the person’s priorities and a focus on ‘what matters to me’ is key to the service delivery.

The Wellbeing Link Coordinator (also known as a Social Prescriber) will have significant interaction with other agencies and the linking of people to community, voluntary and other statutory services for emotional and practical support.

If you have excellent communication skills, are organised and ideally have experience of working with vulnerable adults in healthcare, social care or other applicable settings, then we would very much like to hear from you.

Hours: 37.5 per week

Salary: £25,240 per annum

Family Support Worker

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join CAVS Family Mentoring team as a part-time Family Support Worker, covering Castle Point.

This is a highly rewarding and varied role where you will be helping to support children, young people and their families, working with those who are most vulnerable, assisting them to lead healthier, happier and and more confident lifestyles.

Reporting to the Family Mentoring Coordinator, this  part-time, 15-hour a week post will suit someone with a caring nature and who embraces working both autonomously and as part of a friendly team. Importantly, you will enjoy deriving personal satisfaction in helping to improve the lives of others for the better.
